METAL

Since a few people who read my posts have HUGE misconceptions about what METAL music is about . I shall try to do my best to help them understand this genre..

Metal stands against societies organized by dualistic (heaven versus earth) and liberal (individualistic, egalitarian) societies, as it denies that our values systems are more real than events in natural reality. Truth is a way we describe some things in reality, but there is no eternal life nor eternal truth which exists separate from immortality. Metal means accepting mortality, and experience as what we have in place of a religious or moral truth.

These ideas exceed limits of social acceptability, which in a capitalist liberal democracy threatens the self-marketing which individuals use to gain business partners, social groups .

Described by existentialist F.W Nietzsche: the awareness that life is finite and of functional, transactional maintenance; that we are both predator and prey, and that we have no control over our lives or death.
To Nietzsche, and thinkers such as Arthur Schopenhauer before him, to realize this was an "undergoing," or embracing of nihilism: the belief that there is no value other than the inherent, physical interaction of the natural world.
To a nihilist, there is no inherent morality or value, thus there is no reason to view social status and financial success as ultimate goals, only as methods to a path ranked by subjectively-derived importance. This view threatens the beliefs and punishments used to hold Western society together.

Hip-Hop

When Rap spawned it surfaced the ideology that equated black strength and authentic black identity with a militantly adversarial stance toward American society and the issues that face many young people such as discrimination, peer relations, and self-worth.

Now Rap or Hip – hop as it is called, is supporting and nurturing an environment that degrades disrespects, dehumanizes, and dishonors women and promotes sexism.

It makes thinking men and women into degenerate sex animals, reflecting humans as mere sex objects.

Almost every hip-hop video that is regularly run today in the most popular music channels specifically transmit, promote, and perpetuate negative images of women.

Mainstream hip-hop has influenced the music industry like a plague as it spreads and continuously gains popularity. Hip Hop portrays “its cool to be black” and our generation has blindly and whole heartedly accepted the notion . It is really sad to watch our generation trying to dress and act like their Hip Hop Icons and young girls idolizing Britney, Christina and the Hiltons .

I hope we wake up before we turn into apes .

The Standards Of the Strong

• No God(s) shall come before “the Self”. For we are the Masters of our own destiny. Mankind must learn to metamorphose into Godhood! Those who rely on an invisible crutch are deemed the lowest on the food chain.

• Life should be led like a Wolf. Be loyal to your pack and alert to all that enter your domain. Choose your kindred wisely and know your enemies.

• To create something that is strong, one should use quality materials. The same must be done in the making of an elite mind.

• Never forget those who have betrayed you, because a leopard is unable to change its spots. They may camouflage themselves, but their true colors still remain.

• Always stand proud for what you believe in, no matter how much it may not be accepted. Hiding in the shadows is not the way of the strong. Lurking and hiding are two totally different things. Lurk in the Dark, Don’t hide!

• The weak should be avoided like the plague unless you can obtain something selfish from dealing with them. Never let these leeches suck your blood dry. True weakness is state of being, not a matter of physical strength. And real strength is standing on your own two feet.

• Indulge in all of life’s pleasures, instead of wallowing in pathetic misery. Life is here and now. Live it to the fullest! Fulfill the desires of your Mind, Body and Spirit.

• Victory should be praised at all times and failure unaccepted. Conquests are the goals in life. Losing a battle doesn’t mean you have lost the war! Strive to be the best!

• One must take responsibility for his/her own actions, whether it be positive or negative. Do the deed, accept the consequences.

• The fulfillment of his ambitions would depend on his willing submission to discipline, the conquest of idleness....
